The asf-ge-t will only run at 1000baset? why not just buy the 10/100/1000 version instead? this is for a netgear & ubiquiti environment.

This asf-ge-t module is a 1000BASE-T Mini-GBIC Gigabit module, it will only run at 1000baset. And if your devices support 10/100/1000BASE-T, it is OK to replace it with a 10/100/1000BASE-T module.
